Dr. Zanthia Reddish, known to most as Dr. Z, is a retired principal, national speaker, and best-selling author of The H.E.A.R.T. Leader: How Effective Leaders Cultivate a Culture of Care for Organizational Success.

She knows firsthand that school success isn’t just about strategy—it’s about people. She believes wholeheartedly that relationships are the greatest currency, and her leadership thrived because she poured into her students and staff and led with H.E.A.R.T.Humility, Empathy, Authenticity, Relationships, and Trust.

But even the strongest leaders can’t carry the load alone.

Dr. Z created PrinSupport®, a division of Impoweredd Educational Consulting, from her personal journey. As a young, first-year principal, she was blessed to have a retired principal walk beside her—not to supervise, but to support. That relationship helped build her competence, boost her confidence, and certainly grew her capacity to set her on a path to sustained success.

Now, she’s paying it forward. Dr. Z sees retired principals as an untapped goldmine—like wise grandparents of the profession. They have the experience, the insight, and the H.E.A.R.T. to step in, guide overwhelmed school leaders, and even cover their buildings when a break is desperately needed. In fact, she was the very first PrinSub back in 2022, and she still loves stepping in to support schools when possible.
